We want to thank Michigan Public for including uss in their article about the Veterans Fair hosted at Scio Township Hall.
The article highlighted the many organizations that came together to support veterans and connect them with helpful resources, services, and opportunities. We were grateful to be part of that event and to share more about MiOFO’s mission of helping disabled veterans and individuals with health challenges get back outdoors.
For us, the outdoors is more than a place to hunt, fish, or explore. It is a place where people can reconnect, find peace, build confidence, and enjoy experiences that may have once felt out of reach. Through accessible outdoor recreation opportunities, adaptive equipment, partnerships, and dedicated volunteers, MiOFO works to remove barriers so more people can enjoy Michigan’s great outdoors.
