The article does a great job highlighting what MiOFO is all about — removing barriers so people with mobility challenges, injuries, or health limitations can experience the freedom, peace, and connection that come from being in nature. Through accessible hunting opportunities, track chairs, accessible blinds, dedicated volunteers, and partnerships with organizations like the Michigan DNR, MiOFO is helping people enjoy outdoor experiences that may have once felt out of reach.
For us, it has always been about more than hunting or outdoor recreation. It is about giving people the chance to regain confidence, create lasting memories, connect with others, and experience the healing power of Michigan’s great outdoors.
